Our Prayer

Lord God, you are the Creator of all living things. We know that you care for each and every precious life. Please watch over all those whom we love and care for. We pray for healing and relief to all pets who suffer from illness or poor living conditions. We also pray for those humans we have come to know through our associations in Blogville. Give them strength when they are weary, health when they are ill, and hope when they feel hopeless. And we especially pray for those furiends and friends we have listed here.

UPDATE: POTP for Dad of Raz and Allie

We thank Angel Sammy and Teddy's mom for sending this update last night.

Bill is comfy in his room - just had dinner - when shift changes Sharon is going to go home.   They did a CT Scan and there is no blood clot - they think maybe the lung collapse was due to something I've never heard of - a "lung bleb" - which could be related to his having smoked years ago.    At any rate they don't think it has a thing to do with his cancer or his new medication for the cancer - so that's good news.   They say he probably can go home Tuesday.

Powerful POTP for Cat Daddy Bill

Angel Sammy and Teddy's mom sent me this message below.

Knew you'd want to know - Raz and Allie's Dad, Bill is in the hospital - he and Mom Sharon were at Lowe's and he got short of breath..............they went to the E.R. and they found out he has a collapsed right lung (!) - they have inserted a tube and he's been admitted.
They sure do need our prayers. Bill started new cancer meds this week and they lost dear sweet Ellie. Sure do have a lot on their plates.

*******UPDATE********

Just a quick update on Sophie from their blog - "Sophie is as tough as nails. A series of injections, oxygen and three hours work by a vet and a nurse got her heart working normally. A moment of drama when the hospital staff discovered she still had two bees trapped in her fur."

Cosmo OTRB

COSMO ... it was his time, but then it is never a good time. As he wrote, "I was an old cat, at the age of 17. I was a millennium cat born in 2000. I crossed the rainbow bridge July 1, 2017 at the vet’s office in Kennett Square, PA. I was loved very much by my mom, dad and human brother. My grand beans cried for me too." Please visit, share a word of comfort with Cosmo's family. Thank you.

Ali & Mom

Aside from end-of-life decisions, one of the toughest decisions a pawrent can make concerns not being able to keep their fur baby.  Please send POTP to Ali & Mom at Musings of a Senior Kitty.  Find them HERE.

POTP for Daddy of Raz

Please send prayers, purrs and gentle woofs for our Daddy Bill. He is starting treatment for cancer again. His treatment will
be pills and we hope that he has few side effects and that any that he does have are manageable. Thank you from Sharon and
